Free Film School

I want to take this first post to say hello, and introduce you to Free Film School, a new blog from Today.com.  The title pretty much says it all, as I will be offering as much of my knowledge as possible in helping you, the reader, make movies.  After all, that is why you are here.  My goals would be to not only offer up advice on making independent movies, but to also get discussions started about techniques and other ways of doing certain things.  One of the most important things to remember about making movies is that there is not always just one way of doing something.  If you have a different way of doing something, I would love to know and talk about it.

So there you have it.  I hope this is the start of something valuable for filmmakers everywhere, whether they are just starting out or have made a few movies in the past.  Be back soon…
